Maidana’s camp eyes Pacquiao after Mayweather, says not even witchcraft can save the Filipino boxer

Boxing living legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. divulged that one reason why he’s not too eager to fight eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao is the small prize that the Filipino carries.

“He’s just a six-million (dollar) fighter,” he said of Pacquiao in the promotional video of his fight with Argentine Marcos Maidana on May 3, 2014 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He also taunted Pacquiao for fighting like an amateur in the Filipino’s rematch with compatriot Timothy Bradley.

“Is it about the money? Absolutely! Is it about the fame? Absolutely! It’s everything wrapped in one. I wanna be the best, not just the best fighter, I wanna be the best athlete, period. When I leave, I wanna be known as TBE, and that’s The Best Ever,” the 45-win no-loss 26 KOs pound-for-pound king introduced himself in the Showtime Pay-Per-View primer.

The video shows Mayweather’s lifestyle—88 luxury cars, palatial home, $5 million worth of jewelry and watches, jet plane and all other things his one-million-dollar-a-month (average) earnings can buy.

On the other hand, Maidana lives in a more humble surrounding in Argentina. He is determined in this fight—if not to win then at least to hurt Mayweather.

The Argentine gave Adrien Broner his first loss in their fight last December 14 via a unanimous decision for the WBA welterweight crown and said that Broner is actually stronger than Mayweather, so he can hurt the flamboyant superstar.

His camp also said that they are eyeing Manny Pacquiao next.

“Not even witchcraft can save him,” they laughed.

In Manny’s fight versus Bradley last April 12 (April 13 in Manila), which the Filipino boxer won by unanimous decision, his mother became the toast of social media when she was seen doing some sort of hexing (which the international media thought it was) towards the end of the fight. Mommy Dionisia, however, explained that she was actually praying to the Sto. Nino (Child Jesus) and her gestures were just part of the prayers.

The Mayweather vs Maidana match is dubbed as The Moment, with Mayweather Promotions saying it’s arguably just as good as The One, the name of Mayweather’s fight with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez last September.

Maidana’s trainer Robert Garcia said that he’s preparing his ward to throw 100 punches per round as Mayweather is very defensive and does not throw a lot of punches.

He added that winning is not easy, but nothing is impossible, noting that even the best fighters have lost—like Ray Leonard and Muhammad Ali.

Meanwhile, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum urged the public to boycott Mayweather’s fight on May 3 to force a Mayweather-Pacquiao showdown.

“The only people that can make Floyd Mayweather fight Manny is the public, if they boycott the nonsense on May 3. That’s what the public should do. (If the media doesn’t) want that fight, tell the public not to buy the Pay-Per-View and not to buy the tickets. There’s no other strategy,” Arum said during the post-fight press conference to answer in Manny’s behalf why until now the Filipino superstar is not fighting the American champ.

After ‘American Idol XIII’ elimination: Fil-Am Malaya Watson sets eyes on acting; Dexter Roberts on Nashville, hunting show

Many cried or got so sad when Malaya Watson was eliminated earlier than expected. But the teener with Filipino roots from Southfield, Michigan is positive about everything. After all, she already set a record for being the youngest contestant in the 13-year history of American Idol.

Malaya’s FB pic greeting everyone Happy Easter!

Her legions of fans and supporters will get to see her perform live in the Idol Tour after the new winner is proclaimed by the third week of May.

Malaya, who was supposed to play the tuba in her next performance had she not been eliminated, said the journey continues for her.

“I did what I wanted to do and I’m glad I came out doing what I like. Thanks, guys. You guys are the best, and just stay tuned because I’m not done. I’m not done,” she told the media after she was bumped off from the competition.

Ryan Seacrest hugs Malaya

Her rendition of Chaka Khan’s Through The Fire in the ‘80s theme got her burned and did not deliver the needed votes to stay on. Also, since the judges already used their Save on Sam Woolf the previous week, they can no longer use it on Malaya, who was seen to have one of the competition’s biggest voices and the rawest potential of any of the Top 8.

Malaya back in school with friends

She also added that she’s glad to be able to finish school and now considering acting—movies, TV or stage.

Since she could no longer sing a Nat King Cole classic for Harry Connick Jr. in the show, the newest AI judge reportedly told her dad, “Don’t worry about it and we will probably see you soon.”

#ThrowALLtheWayBack ‘La Familia’ (Malaya is beside ‘lola’. Note the guys in barong)

Malaya said she hopes that Mr. Connick does as she really wanted to do that song for him, really badly.

Country singer Dexter Roberts was next to get the boot. He sang Lucky Man in the Competitor’s Choice last week but not lucky enough to stay longer. Together with him in the Bottom 2 was his duet partner, Jessica Meuse, who got an almost scathing review from the judges.

Dexter Roberts gives his all in final performance

Teary-eyed when his co-contestants surrounded him as he sang his final song on the show, he said that his immediate plan was to get home and sleep. He will continue with his singing career and hopefully have a hunting show one day. He clarified, though, that he’s not going to hunt his Idol successors, but “turkeys, ducks and whitetails!”

Nashville is just happy to have Dexter, as he’s heading there!

Top 6 surrounds teary-eyed Dexter Roberts

The Top 6: Jena Irene (considered the strongest contender as of last performance), Caleb Johnson (Jena’s duet partner and strongest competitor to be in the Final 2), Alex Preston (the only other contestant who has not gotten into Bottom 3 or Bottom 2), CJ Harris (already in the Bottom 3 or Bottom 2 3x), Sam Woolf (who was supposed to have been eliminated from Top 8 but was Saved), and Jessica Meuse.

Accident turns Lance Raymundo into a pillar of faith

On March 19, 2014, singer-actor Lance Raymundo, certainly one of the most likeable guys in local showbiz (see Likeable guy Lance Raymundo plays Jesus Christ in stageplay, had a freak accident at the gym.

Photo taken February 27, 2014 posted on Instagram

His face was damaged and initially thought it can never be restored the way it had been.

One of the accident photos that circulated online

But through God’s grace, he has recovered since and the reconstruction/healing is considered way, way faster than the usual period of recuperation. It can even be called a miracle.

Photo taken April 7, 2014 (the accident happened on March 19 and reconstructive surgery was done on March 25)

In this day and age of pessimism, selfishness, ingratitude and overbearing stance, Lance Raymundo has become a pillar of faith, a shining example of a forgiving person and a model of how and what it is to be a real Christian.

Lance captioned this as: xactly 3 weeks ago, at this very hour, I narrowly escaped death during my gym accident which left me half blind and Facially Disfigured! Just want to celebrate my new life & my fast recovery by posting this screen grab from @abscbnonline @ukgdos that shows my present state on the left and my disfigured self on the right. With this, I acknowledge the power of Faith in #God , Prayers, Positivity, Good Vibes, Good Wishes from my Family, Relatives, Friends & Everyone from the #Philippines and around the #World… AND course, The Talented and Gifted hands of my Doctors and Surgeons headed by Dr. John Michael Porquez @porquezmd One more surgery to go a few weeks from now to complete my healing and reconstruction and after that, I’m back to my normal routine in life! Cheers to us all… Have an awesome day ahead!

With ‘Umagang Kay Ganda’ host Amy Perez at the family residence in Mandaluyong

On Good Friday, Lance shared his experience, and we are printing his very exact words in this article.

March 20, 2014 – The day after surviving my near fatal gym accident, I began to regain full consciousness… It was when I realized the gravity of my situation. I was half blind, the small crack on my skull made me vulnerable to meningitis, seizures, attacks etc… And through my one functional eye, I took a good look at the mirror and didn’t recognize my own reflection because my face has been disfigured. But for some reason, instead of feeling angry, depressed and negative… I just took another look at the “New Me” and just smiled back at my reflection and thanked God that I was still alive. 🌿

Captioned as: TODAY (April 6, 2014) on #StarTalk @startalk (4pm) & #KapusoMoJessicaSoho (7:30pm) #GMA7 @gmanetwork : I will have in depth interviews by Ricky Lo & Jessica Soho about my Accident and my Road to Recovery. I will explain exactly what happened on that fateful day (March 19, 2014) and how Faith in God, A Positive Outlook in Life, Love & Prayers from Family, Friends & all Pinoys (and the whole world) & Keeping a Smile on my Face Everyday (even if my whole face hurts) has helped me get back on my feet merely SEVEN days after my mid face, eye socket, cheekbones & nose got crushed beyond recognition due to my accident!

My family was there for me all the way! My Mom helped me back to my bed (I needed someone to help me walk to the mirror because I had lost my sense of balance) and as I lay in bed… I just had a personal moment with God and asked him to guide me in planning how to live an effective and meaningful life with my current situation. I also found it within me to completely and sincerely forgive the Fitness Trainer who accidentally dropped the barbell on my face & prayed for his peace of mind.

I must have fallen asleep, but at approximately 5:45pm, I heard a voice within my head saying “Your suffering will only last for 6 days because on the 7th day, everything will be restored.” I’m human, so naturally, I had my doubts. The Doctors told me that due to the extreme swelling all over my face, it will take around three weeks before I can undergo my 1st surgery. So….. I asked the Voice: “God, I have full trust in you, and I fully accept my situation because I know there is a reason for everything and I know that you will not put me in any situation that I can’t handle… But I just want to know if I’m really hearing you…. Or if my mind is playing tricks on me… Making me hear what I want to hear, just to help me feel better.” 🌿

The voice merely told me that if I have enough strength to sit down, then I will know the answer. I used all the strength I had to sit down on my own. When I finally got to sit up on my hospital bed, the first thing I saw was the crumpled linen of my hospital blanket!!! It had the image of a bearded man, which to me… Looks like Jesus. I felt a little embarrassed for doubting my faith, but I was also very thankful for the direct response from God.

I called for my Mom to wake up because I wanted to show her the face. Mom woke up worried… she thought I was calling her because there was an emergency… But I told her that I just wanted to show her something. Without even explaining anything, she also told me she can see the face of Jesus on my blanket. She immediately picked up her phone and took this picture as a remembrance which I am now sharing with all of you.

A few minutes later, my brother Rannie and my sister-in-law Chary arrived. Rannie told me that while driving to the hospital, he got dizzy and out of the blue, he got a random vision of me looking like myself again and heard a message that I will be restored! That seemed to be more than just coincidence! Dad later came and saw the picture and saw the same thing, too! A day after, my swelling suddenly subsided. And my doctor informed us that he has scheduled my surgery on March 25, 2014. 🌿

On March 26, 2014… SEVEN days after my accident, I woke up and opened my eyes and realized that both eyes work and my 20/20 vision is restored… The Neurosurgeons informed my family that my brain had been cleared from any danger….. And then I asked Mom for a mirror…… And when I looked into the mirror… It was Me again! 🌿

His Promise, Fulfilled! 🌿

I am in no way forcing my belief upon anyone who reads this… People who see the picture above are free to have his or her own personal perception of what they see.

I am a Catholic and for me, it is the Face of Jesus… But I will respect it if others merely see an image of a bearded man…. or just a wrinkled piece of cloth…. BUT, if this story has positively touched or spiritually inspired even just ONE person who reads this…. Then I can smile and know to myself that everything I went through in those 6 Days are worth it 😊This is not about Religion… Therefore, anyone can feel free to relate to this story … To me, this is more of a Testimony that Faith, Hope, Forgiveness, Positivity, Love, Family & A Smile can truly work miracles!

Lance was to play Jesus Christ in a Lent production

I may now be back to looking like the Lance you all know, but I have learned a lot from the facially disfigured person that destiny has allowed me to become for just 6 days in my life… He has thought me a lot about faith, forgiveness and love… And so, in the end, what at 1st seemed like a tragedy has actually proven itself to be a blessing.

God bless you, Lance. May a lot of people also be like you–no longer just a likeable guy but an exemplary human being!

Visita Iglesia Online: Alternative Way to Fulfill Holy Week Tradition for OFWs, Sick Filipino Catholics

Established in 2010 by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) for OFWs and sick Filipinos, Visita Iglesia Online immediately became a hit but crashed due to heavy traffic (almost 50,000 logged in) but was technically adjusted to accommodate even if the figure doubled the following year.

Manila Cathedral

Visita Iglesia or Church Visit is a Holy Week tradition of Filipino Catholics to visit seven churches as nominal (Seven Last Words) and 14 churches for the very faithful to correspond to the 14 Stations of the Cross.

Jesus Christ: The Way, The Truth and The Life

Visita Iglesia Online offers a virtual experience of celebrating the Holy Week and Easter at the comfort of one’s room—in front of a multimedia laptop or desktop, or tablet or cellphone which becomes a virtual chapel.

The site, according to CBCP Media, however, should not be used as substitute to the liturgical celebrations done in parishes. Those who are able and capable to physically celebrate liturgical services in parish churches should do so.

San Sebastian Church

This year, the featured Churches are Epiphany of the Lord Parish in Lingayen, Pangasinan; San Ildefonso Parish in Guiguinto, Bulacan; Sanctuario de Sto. Cristo in San Juan City; San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila; Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish (Barasoain Church) in Malolos City, Bulacan; Parish of Saint Fabian, Pope and Martyr in San Fabian, Pangasinan; National Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Baclaran; and the newly refurbished Manila Cathedral Basilica in Intramuros.

The magnificent dome of San Beda Chapel or Abbey of Our Lady of Monserrat

For the physically able and capable devotees or the plain faithful, in Manila alone, there’s already a clump of churches to visit—aside from San Agustin Church and Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, there’s the San Lorenzo Ruiz Church in Binondo, Sta. Cruz Church, Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, San Sebastian Church, San Beda Church and Saint Jude Thaddeus Church near Malacanang Palace.

Pope Francis: Even Atheists love him for his exemplary demeanor

Visita Iglesia Online features videos, photos and articles for spiritual growth and deepening one’s faith—like the Lenten Message of Pope Francis, Catechesis on Lent by Msgr. Bobby Olaguer and The Meaning of Lent by Abp. Socrates Villegas. There’s also resources for Reflections, Pasyon and Homilies.

Pacquiao unanimous decision win a redemption from Bradley cheat victory two years ago

Not only was Manny Pacquiao hungry for the redemption from the cheat win of Timothy Bradley two years ago, but also the 90 million Filipinos at home and those scattered abroad, and many hundreds of millions of other people all over the world who swore that it was the boxing icon from Sarangani Province who clearly won in that fight.

Manny connects the punch to Bradley’s face

The first few rounds were tentative for both in the rematch held Saturday night (Sunday noon in Manila) in Las Vegas, with Bradley looking like he was the one getting the upper hand, until the seventh round when Manny staggered the American fighter.

Although no one got knocked down or knocked out, the points were clear that Manny won the fight—116-112, 116-112, 118-110.

Fighting for redemption was the name of the game for Manny

Bradley, who said in earlier reports that he wanted to commit suicide because he was booed wherever he went as people said he actually lost the fight to Pacquiao, should feel better now—not for thinking it’s an undeserved win for his opponent but his well-deserved loss to the 8-title boxing superstar.

ImageManny’s mother, renamed Queen D on social media, became ‘the star of the night’

Biggest winner is… Mommy D!

With the WBO welterweight belt back, Pacquiao’s current standing is 56-5-2, 38 knockouts. Bradley suffered his first loss, now with a record of 31-1-0, 12 KOs.

American Idol Season 11 runner-up Fil-Am Jessica Sanchez sang the Philippine National Anthem, Lupang Hinirang, while Ashanti sang The Star-Spangled Banner.

Meanwhile, Manny’s wife Jinkee, who’s scheduled to give birth to their fifth child anytime this month, tearfully said on TV that at 35, Manny has nothing to prove anymore and should retire now.

She asked her husband, “How much money do you want in this world when (that means) you’re away from your family?”

Right after the fight, though, Pacquiao said that his win over Bradley “proves that my boxing journey will continue.”

Manny hugs Tim after the fight

Coach Freddie Roach definitely want a rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez, who knocked out Manny asleep for a few minutes that made fans and supporters weep.

The Filipino pugilist started to regain lost glory when he won over Brandon Rios in Macau in November last year.

Lest we forget also the possibility of a mega-fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Fil-Am Malaya Watson says goodbye to ‘American Idol’ dream

After almost everyone’s lackluster ‘80s performance on Wednesday (Thursday morning in Manila), America voted who should stay as Top 7 on Idol Season 13. Not one got a standing ovation from the judges.

The contestants were mentored by American Idol Season 9 winner David Cook.

Malaya Watson

The sad thing is, it’s Filipino-American Malaya Watson who got eliminated, as the judges already used their Save on Sam Woolf last week.

Malaya performed Chaka Khan’s Through The Fire, and honestly, it wasn’t as sterling as her other performances.

On Results Night (Thursday, Friday morning in Manila), host Ryan Seacrest called Dexter (Roberts), Caleb (Johnson), Jessica (Meuse) and CJ (Harris) to get the first in the Bottom 2.

First declared safe was Caleb, then Jessica, and Dexter. CJ waited for the other contestant in the Bottom 2.

‘American Idol XIII’ Top 8 after ’80s performance with host Ryan Seacrest

The rest of the Top 8 were called—Sam, Malaya, Alex (Preston) and Jena (Irene)—and former judge-turned-mentor Randy Jackson said that Malaya could be in trouble with the votes as she hit some of the notes but also did not hit some.

After the review of the performances, Ryan announced Alex was safe, then Jena, and Sam, who looked surprised of the announcement.

CJ Harris

Jackson was proven correct. Malaya then joined CJ. When the results were read, it was the 16-year-old tuba player from Southfield, Michigan who was to leave the competition.

Jennifer Lopez was teary-eyed as Malaya performed her final song, I Am Changing. The judges gave her standing ovation.

Sam Woolf

The youngest contestant this season, as part of Top 10, Malaya will get in touch with her fans and supporters during the nationwide tour.

Filipinos may also get to see the Season 13 Idols if and when the tour includes Manila, as in Season 10, when the winner was Scotty McCreery and Fil-Am Thia Megia was in the Top 10.

‘Who’s known for earrings like Malaya’s?’ asked Ryan

Jumping the Gun on Herbert: Kris Aquino goes from Presidential daughter to Presidential sister to First Lady?

In a carefully crafted statement she read on her show with Boy Abunda, Aquino & Abunda Tonight, on ABS-CBN on Monday, Kris Aquino admitted after so much speculation that, yes, she and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista are now a couple.

Kris Aquino

Saying that the statement was coming from both of them, she promised that it was the first and last time for her to talk about the blooming relationship, to which Abunda teased Kris about a looming marriage.

Herbert Bautista

“Ito po ang una at huling pagkakataon na pag-uusapan ko si Mayor Herbert Bautista sa puntong ito ng buhay namin, whether in my shows, interviews or my personal social media posts.

“I promised that our relationship won’t be a distraction in his obligations to the three million residents he took an oath of office to serve.

“He has given more than 25 years of dedicated public service and my respect for him and his office is such that I don’t want to add stress but, hopefully, give him inspiration.

“In turn, Herbert has expressed his admiration and respect for the dedication and hard work I have put into my profession, and he values the love you, my audience, and I have shared on a daily basis for almost 20 years…”

Captioned ‘Family Dinner’: Kris’ social media post that gave away the identity of her new inspiration

The Philippine Queen of All Media continued:

“I am 43, and on May 12, he will be 46. I am sure all of you who are watching right now will agree when I state that staying together, that choosing to love one another requires much day-to-day effort.

“And if there is something that the past has taught me, it is that I can’t do this on my own.”

Kris chose to divulge everything in her show with Boy Abunda on Monday

In her tone, the former presidential daughter-turned presidential sister said that her relationship with the actor-politician, though still in progress, will be for keeps.

Herbert and I are partners in either the failure or success of our being together. And we can strengthen what we have by allowing ourselves to have a chance at forever by keeping quiet and private about what is here and now.

“We are a work in progress and it’s a joint project that both of us are happily undertaking with maturity, respect and commitment.

“Sana nasagot na po lahat. Wala na po akong idadagdag dun. It reflects everything that is in my heart, and hopefully, also in his heart.”

The TV host-actress also revealed that Mayor Bautista (whose nickname is Bistek) asked permission from her brother, President PNoy. The President first thought his sister and the mayor may be doing a project together in Quezon City. It turned out that Herbert was asking to date Kris (or in Tagalog, nagpapaalam para manligaw).

Kris with sons Bimby and Josh

Herbert has two kids by Tates Gana while Kris has two sons—Josh (by Phillip Salvador) and Bimby (by James Yap, whom she married, got separated from and the marriage got annulled two years ago).

James gave a clue about Kris’ newfound love when he said an interview that their son Bimby told him who it was—a politician.

Kris’ ex-husband James Yap

Her Instagram post of family dinner with Herbert at the head of the table was a given. Honesty could have triggered Kris to come out in the open to end speculations as she’s known for this virtue.

Reactions to her revelation vary. Some laughing their heart out, others smirking, a lot wishing her good luck on her lovelife, and there were also those who didn’t care.

Kris’ breakup with then Paranaque City Mayor Joey Marquez became a sensation as she said on national TV that she contracted venereal disease from the actor-comedian. As it is now, her relationship with the Quezon City Mayor has also become a sensation, more so in social media, spawning a name for the tandem as Kristek.

One of those close to both Kris and Herbert, comedian and entertainment writer-columnist Ogie Diaz, posted on Facebook:

“Honestly, gusto kong maging happy for Kris Aquino and Herbert Bautista, dahil pareho kong mahal yan. Ninang at ninong sila ng 12yo daughter ko.

“Kaso, kumare ko rin at mahal ko din si Tates na ina ng dalawang anak ni Bistek.

“Kaya gustuhin ko mang maging happy for them 100%, hindi ko magawa.

“Pero kahit pa siguro ano ang maging reaksyon ko eh does it matter to them? Hindi naman siguro.

“Kaya kung happy man sina Mareng Kris at Herbert, ituloy lang nila.

“After all, sila naman ang makapagbibigay sa mga sarili ng ikaliligaya nila, hindi naman ang ibang tao.

“So manahimik ka na dyan, Ogie Diaz.

“Ok. Madali akong kausap.

Ogie, sit. Behave!

“Nako, para na raw akong aso, o!”

 Jumping the Gun

The union of Kris and Herbert could spell the re-shaping of the political landscape in the nearest future.

Two years into the national elections, the Liberal Party has no strong contender to the Presidency yet.

Although Mar Roxas (current DILG secretary, former DOTC secretary and losing Vice Presidential candidate) is touted as PNoy’s successor, his poor handling of the crisis brought about by Super Typhoon Yolanda virtually ended whatever clout he had with the electorate. Add to that the hateful stance of his wife Korina Sanchez against the real-time on-site reporting of Anderson Cooper of CNN.

Politics in 2016 and beyond will be defined by social media. Certainly, those with strong links have the advantage.

Vice President Jejomar Binay may think he has the upperhand in the coming presidential elections, but if the barrage of comments on social media against him, his daughter, his son, his wife—in other words, his entrenched political dynasty (the same issue why he was in the forefront against Marcos)—is the basis, people would rather have someone who is not arrogant, not greedy for power and no (glaring) history of graft and corruption to be the next President.

It’s unthinkable, too, that people would allow PDAF kickbackers Sen. Jinggoy Estrada and Sen. Bong Revilla to be elected to the highest position in government.

There could still be a big chunk of Marcos loyalists among the electorate but majority won’t elect another Marcos into office. Not at this time, at least.

Now, for the ambitious lot—like Allan Peter Cayetano and Manny Villar—they should know that from Manuel Quezon (except for Manuel Roxas and Elpidio Quirino, since Sergio Osmena did not campaign for re-election anymore) until now, only those with the letters OS or ON in their names are elected President in this country.

Take note of this: Ramon Magsaysay. Carlos Garcia. Diosdado Macapagal. Ferdinand Marcos. Corazon Aquino. Fidel Ramos. Joseph Estrada. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Benigno Simeon Aquino III.

For female Presidents, it’s with the letters ON or OR (Corazon, Gloria).

Becoming a President is not an ambition to fulfill, rather it is destiny.

Jumping the gun, the real name of Bistek is Herbert Constantine Maclang Bautista. There’s the ON in the second name, just like PNoy’s Benigno Simeon.

Herbert and Kris are now called Kristek

As it’s destiny, Kris, having been a Presidential daughter, and now Presidential sister, may become the First Lady sooner (2016) or later (2022).

Herbert does not have a damaged reputation like the Binays. His demeanor of having been issued a ticket for beating the red light (with no escorts at that time) and rewarding the traffic enforcer for doing his job was a far cry from the highly publicized brush of Makati Mayor Junjun Binay and his escorts with the security guards of a posh village in December last year.

Binay or Bistek?

The jigsaw puzzle pieces are coming together—for Kris Aquino.
